Penguin Hotel, Miami Beach

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The location is fantastic, being right across from the beach and close to various attractions. However, the stay was marred by hidden fees and issues with the room, including noise disturbances. While the staff was accommodating, the overall comfort and condition of the hotel left something to be desired.

My stay at this hotel had both highlights and low points. The beach is just across the street, making it very convenient for quick access to the ocean. The staff, like Carmen and Ronald, made the experience better with their helpfulness. However, the room I got was not what I expected; it felt small and a bit outdated, and there were noise issues that impacted my stay. Overall, while the beach location was fantastic, the room and some aspects of my stay left me disappointed.

However, I had concerns about the overall safety of the hotel after a fire incident, which left me questioning its management during emergencies. Additionally, the check-in process was frustrating, as we had to wait for a considerable time with minimal communication from the staff.

I had a pleasant stay at the Penguin Hotel, located right across from a less crowded beach, which made my mornings refreshing. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable, though I did find the space a bit cramped. The staff were always helpful, but I did experience some annoyances with housekeeping that dampened my overall experience. The Breakfast buffet was decent, but the bathroom lacked practical storage space, which was a downside for me.

The Penguin Hotel offers a unique experience with its charming Art Deco design right on Ocean Drive, making it a great spot for beach lovers. The staff, particularly Carmen, provided excellent service during our last-minute stay. However, some aspects like the breakfast experience and sheets could use improvement, which slightly dampened my stay. Overall, it's a decent option for exploring South Beach, but I wouldn't want to spend more than a night with the current amenities.
